FAQs
Some of the frequently asked questions that we get
Here are some of the questions that are often asked at the clinic. This is by no means an exhaustive list. If you have any questions about your teeth, our clinic or any dental procedures, chat to us by phone or via the contact form.
WHY SHOULD I BRUSH MY TEETH REGULARLY?
Naturally occurring bacteria in your mouth becomes a thick and sticky film that builds up on your teeth. This build up is called plaque. If this is not removed regularly, it will harden to become calculus which is generally known as tartar. This build-up makes it hard to clean and floss your teeth and the bacteria continues to damage your teeth.
Why are my gums sore?
There may be a few different reasons for this. The most common cause is Gingivitis. It is an infection of the gums that causes inflammation. Gingivitis is caused by the bacteria in plaque and tartar on your teeth.
Bio Dental Care can diagnose and treat your dental problems starting today.
HOW CAN BIO DENTAL CARE HELP ME WITH GINGIVITIS?
Removal of the plaque and tartar will start the healing process. During a dental clean at Bio Dental Care, we will remove the plaque and tartar from your teeth. After your visit to the dentist, resume brushing your teeth and gums, followed by flossing and a mouth wash, morning and night.
How often should I visit Bio Dental Care?
Regular visits every 6 months will allow our knowledgeable practitioners to clean and check your teeth.
If remedial measures are necessary, follow up appointments may be needed.
How do I prevent holes in my teeth?
To prevent holes in your teeth, eat a healthy diet, as well as brush and floss twice a day.
Why should I choose Bio Dental Care?
